The Washington Canoe Club is pleased to sponsor the 16th annual Kumu’ohu Challenge, April 23, 2022, a 9-mile race for OC1, OC2 and V1 outriggers, kayaks, and Surfskies on the picturesque Potomac River in Washington D.C. The race begins at 10:00 a.m.
ARE Outrigger World will be on hand to demo the high-performance V1 Marara rudderless and OC1 Mana outriggers. Come visit us at our booth, where Kevin Wolfe, of the Philadelphia Canoe Club, will answer any questions along with Va’a Fitness Head Coach, Mana Tehiva, who will give tips on paddling or more extended lessons, if desired.
There will also be new V1s and OC1s for sale, plus free dry bags and a limited number of ARE Tahiti caps. You won’t want to miss it!
